Eduard Bf-110C TFace masking set, 1:48 scale

An Eduard masking set made of kabuki (washi) paper in the TFace form for models of the twin-engine heavy fighter Messerschmitt Bf 110C in 1:48 scale. The TFace designation means that the set contains masks for the outer as well as the inner side of the glazing, so the canopy frames can be painted cleanly from both sides (with the interior color as well as the exterior one). The extensive greenhouse canopy of the Bf 110 with its many frames is thus masked quickly and accurately. It is not a kit but a masking accessory.

Use

• Apply the inner masks before fitting the glazing and paint the frames with the interior color.
• Lay the outer masks on the canopy for the final spraying of the exterior colors.
• Place the small frames with tweezers and spray the paint in thin coats.
• Masks for the landing gear wheels are usually included as well, for a clean separation of the hub from the rubber.
• Peel the masks off gently once dry.
