The MiG-15 is a Soviet single-seat jet fighter aircraft from the end of the 1940s and one of the first production machines with a swept wing. It came about in large numbers, served in a number of countries and became so widespread that it belongs to the basic equipment of collections of the postwar air forces. For a modeler it is rewarding for its clean shape: the smooth barrel-like fuselage positively invites careful painting and polishing.
This is an accessory set from the LooK plus line, intended for a kit of the MiG-15 in 1:48 scale. Accessory sets are acquired to go with a kit and replace or complete its parts where injection-molded plastic runs into its limits. Which particular parts the set carries and which kit it is cut for should be checked in the description from the manufacturer; with sets tied to one type of box it pays to check that before buying.
Try the parts dry first and only then glue them. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that it does not take from the shape. Wash and degrease the surfaces before painting. The parts that are not of polystyrene hold on super glue; ordinary modeling cement does not take on them. If an element is supplied already finished in color, do not sand it and do not varnish over it, otherwise you will lose exactly what the set is bought for.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
