Responsibility details are not available.
A paint from the Lifecolor range carrying the designation UA851. The Italian name Grigio chiaro means light gray; the abbreviation XMPR is part of the trade designation of the shade. The word Satin in the name sets the degree of sheen: once dry the surface is neither matte nor glossy, but reflects light slightly.
Light gray is a universal shade. A satin sheen suits everywhere a matte surface would look dusty and a glossy one like a toy: on vehicle bodies and shells, on rolling stock, on machinery and on surfaces that get handled often on the model. A satin surface is also a better base for decals than a matte one, because no milky haze forms under the decal on a smooth surface.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before work, the pigment settles to the bottom. Apply in thin coats and add the next one only once the previous has dried; the degree of sheen settles only after it is fully dry, so do not judge it earlier. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, as an airbrush needs more thinning than a brush. Rinse the tools immediately after work. Light shades cover a dark base less well, so a base coat in a light tone is useful. On a large surface light gray also brings out every unevenness, so sand and degrease the surface carefully before painting.
The delivery contains the shade named. The model, thinner, brushes and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
