Eduard 1:48 Mil Mi-24D Hind cargo interior is a photo-etched set aimed at the interior of the cargo compartment of the helicopter in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched parts of thin metal sheet intended to equip the cargo compartment of a model of the Mi-24D helicopter in 1:48 scale. By its name it is aimed at exactly this part of the machine, that is the space behind the crew cockpit. On the Mi-24 the cargo compartment is clearly visible through the side windows and open doors, so detailing it has a great influence on the final impression of the model. Made by Eduard, a Czech brand. The package contains no kit and no paints.
The Mi-24 is a Soviet attack helicopter from the Mil design bureau, given the NATO reporting name Hind. It differs from other attack helicopters in that behind the crew cockpit it also carries a compartment for transport, which gives it a dual role. The Mi-24D version has separate, tandem-arranged canopies for the pilot and the operator. The inside of the cargo compartment is broken up, with side seats and technical panels on the walls.
Cut the parts off the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface. Make the bends in a bending tool or between two rules. Degrease the sheet before gluing and apply cyanoacrylate glue in a small amount, ideally with a wooden stick or a wire. Fit and paint the interior before you close the fuselage up, because afterwards you will no longer reach it. It pays to use a wash to bring out the pressings and a dry brush on the edges.
The set contains no kit. It is an accessory for a model; check that it matches the kit you are building.
