This is not a model but a resin detail set. It replaces the engine exhaust nozzle with a precisely cast resin part with a faithful internal structure, which plastic models usually simplify. A faithfully made engine outlet is among the most visible improvements to the rear fuselage. It is based on the dimensions of the Italeri kit.
The Mirage IIIE was a multi-role supersonic fighter and attack aircraft with a delta wing and an Atar engine, used by a number of air forces. The Mirage V version was based on the same airframe as a daylight attack aircraft. The detail of the engine outlet section matters for the fidelity of a model, and this set captures it precisely.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with your breathing protected. Paint the inside of the nozzle in metal shades with heat discoloration and sooting before you glue it into the fuselage. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue.
This is an accessory for a model, not a stand-alone kit. The Italeri base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
