It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers that replaces the coarser plastic parts with thin, crisp castings.
The Douglas A-1 Skyraider was an American single-seat piston-engine attack aircraft with a potent radial engine. Although it appeared at the end of the Second World War, it made its name much later with its long endurance over the battlefield and its heavy weapons load in close support of ground forces during the wars in Korea and Vietnam.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water to remove any mold release residue from the mold. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp saw or a knife and sand the cut surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with ordinary plastic cement. Try the fit dry before painting; resin may need a little cleaning up.
The set is supplied as a resin part, unassembled and unpainted. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a plastic kit. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
