A kit of the Polish PZL P.11c fighter in 1:72 scale, released under the designation Rare Birds. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The PZL P.11c was a Polish single-seat fighter of the 1930s. You recognize it at first glance by its cranked high wing, which sits above the pilot and leaves him a clear view forward and upward, by the corrugated metal skin, the fixed landing gear and the open cockpit. In its day the machine was among the best, but at the start of the Second World War it was already slow against faster opponents. It nevertheless made up the main strength of the Polish fighter units.
The release comes from IBG Models and carries the designation Rare Birds. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the number of parts, the choice of markings and the color plan are given in the instructions in the package. The finished model has a span of just under fifteen centimeters, so it fits even a smaller display case and goes well with other machines of the same period.
For builders interested in the fighters of the turn of the 1930s and 1940s, and for collectors whose display case lacks a machine with a shape other than the usual low-wing monoplane. Paints, glue and add-on sets are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
