Modern Soviet fighter pilot with a head-up display (1:48, Aerobonus) is a resin figure for completing cockpits and dioramas on models of jet aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin figure for experienced modelers represents the pilot of a modern Soviet fighter in his equipment, with a helmet and survival gear. Part of the subject is a head-up display (HUD), that is the collimated sight projected in front of the pilot. The set is intended to bring a cockpit, a diorama or a display case to life on models of jet aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is made by Aerobonus (the Aires range).
Pilots of modern jet fighters wear flight helmets, an oxygen mask and a pressure suit. A head-up display projects flight and aiming data straight into the field of view, so the pilot does not have to look down at the instruments. The figure therefore goes well with the open cockpit of a contemporary machine.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. We recommend a primer and painting with an airbrush or a brush, picking out the details of the equipment.
It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
