This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard adds fine exterior details to a plastic model of the French Morane-Saulnier MS.406 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory for refining the surface of the base model.
The Morane-Saulnier MS.406 was the main French fighter at the beginning of the Second World War. It was a single-engine all-metal low-wing aircraft with a liquid-cooled engine. The type was also built under license in Switzerland and was used on a number of fronts.
The etched parts refine small elements of the exterior. Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife, form the bends in a bending tool or over a firm rule and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the surface before spraying the paint.
This is an accessory set, not a stand-alone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
