The set contains 3D printed and already painted panels of the flight deck of a tiltrotor, that is a machine with swiveling engine nacelles. It is supplied on decal paper, the parts are applied like a decal and need neither gluing nor painting. The package does not contain the machine itself; this is an accessory for the Hobby Boss kit in 1:48 scale.
The Osprey is flown in two modes and its cockpit has to handle both. The pilots sit side by side, the panel is built around multi-function displays and the classic round dials play only a supporting role on it. An extensive center console runs between the seats and an overhead panel sits above the crew, an arrangement more typical of a helicopter. On top of that there are the controls tied to swiveling the nacelles, which you will not find in the cockpit of a conventional airplane. The glazing is large and framed, so the interior is clearly visible on the finished model and a flat plastic panel from the kit looks empty in there.
Before you get to the cockpit, the sheet with the set often lies in the box for weeks. Keep it dry and flat: both moisture and bending harm the print, and a wavy carrier then seats more poorly. Before work, degrease the surface on the model and leave it smooth and glossy. Apply the panels at the part-built stage, while both seats and the center console are accessible, and guide the larger parts into place with a soft brush, not with your fingers. Once dry, fix them with clear coat of the matching sheen and, if you wish, give the displays a slight gloss separately.
