The Su-27 is a Soviet heavy twin-engine fighter aircraft with a large lifting area and a smooth transition from wing into fuselage. It came about as an answer to the American fighter aircraft of the new generation and became the basis of a whole family of derived machines. Thanks to its large fuel load it manages long patrol flights, and its versions are flown by the air forces of a number of countries to this day.

Which areas the set covers is given in the manufacturer's instructions. The masks are stuck onto the model before spraying and lifted off once the paint has dried; the border of the paint thereby comes out sharp and the same on both sides of the model.
The surface has to be dry, clean and degreased, otherwise the mask will not hold and paint will run underneath. Lay the mask down with tweezers and press it along its whole perimeter; on curves, work it down gradually. Spray the paint in several thin layers; a heavy layer tears when the mask is lifted and a step stays at the border. Lift the masks off soon after the paint has dried and pull them at a low angle, not straight up. On glazing, leave the mask in place until the surface finish is done; it will protect the clear part from overspray and from fingerprints.
The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
