A set of accessories from the Hobby Design brand for the kit of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X from Aoshima in 1:24 scale. You will not find the car itself in the package; the product serves exclusively for adorning a model from this kit.
The tenth and at the same time last generation of the Evolution range was made from 2007. The two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder was supplemented by the sophisticated S-AWC all-wheel drive system, which lent the car its proverbial assurance on any surface. The sharp sedan with a pedigree from the world rally championship became an icon of its era and with its departure a whole chapter of Japanese sporting sedans closed; all the more gladly do modelers reach for it to this day.
Before you glue anything, sort the parts according to the planned sequence of the build and mark what belongs in the interior and what on the body. Work in cleanliness, degrease the extras before fitting them and use the smallest possible amount of glue applied with a needle for fixing. Haste is the greatest enemy in work this fine; allow the joints time to cure.
The X can be built in both positions: as a sharp sedan for the road, or as a competition car with a full roll cage and starting numbers. According to the intention, not only the color scheme differs but also which elements inside the cabin make sense. Think it over before the glue leaves the bottle for the first time.
