1:48 Sd.Kfz. 251 Stuka zu Fuss conversion set is a resin accessory for a kit you have already bought, not a model in its own right. It adds the Wurfrahmen 40 side frames for launching rockets to the half-track carrier.

A resin conversion set from the Czech maker Hauler. It makes it possible to build from the model of the German Sd.Kfz. 251 armored half-track the variant with Wurfrahmen 40 frame launchers carried on the sides of the hull. For this configuration the unofficial designation Stuka zu Fuss caught on. The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, which the modeler buys separately, and without it the model cannot be built.
The Wurfrahmen 40 were simple welded frames carrying transport crates with rocket ammunition on the sides of the hull. The rockets were launched from the crates themselves, without a separate barrel, which simplified the whole installation markedly. Aiming was done by turning the whole vehicle and setting the elevation of the frame, so accuracy was low and the effect relied on firing a whole salvo. The vehicle kept its original role as a carrier; the frames were additional equipment, not a rebuild of the hull.
A conversion set is something other than a detail set. Expect cutting and drilling into the plastic model: the frames have to be seated in an accurate position and symmetrically on both sides, the original items on the sides of the hull are usually removed and mountings added. It pays to assemble the whole installation dry first and line it up by the side view, because frames seated asymmetrically are visible on a finished model at once. First wash the resin parts free of release agent in warm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a fine-toothed saw and sand wet or with protection for your breathing. It is bonded exclusively with super glue; on larger areas epoxy is surer. Apply a primer before painting, which unifies the resin with the plastic.
This is a resin conversion set, not a kit of the vehicle. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
