A colored self-adhesive (S.A.) photo-etched set of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale for the model of the Westland Sea King helicopter in the AEW Mk.2 version. It is not a model but an accessory (a detail set) that adds pre-painted metal details above all to the interior and to the instrument faces. The self-adhesive version makes the seating of the colored parts easier without glue.
The Sea King AEW Mk.2 was the British version of the naval Sea King helicopter adapted for the role of airborne early warning with a retractable radar. It served with the Royal Navy to protect a force of ships against low-flying targets. The interior and the instrument panels of this version have their own particulars, which the set takes into account.
The colored parts are pre-painted and with the self-adhesive ones it is enough to peel the protective film off and press the part on. Separate the other parts with a sharp knife and glue them with super glue. Degrease small surfaces before gluing them on.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
