The photo-etched detail set Su-35 Flanker E 1:48 from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model: these are fine metal parts for sharpening a kit of the modern Su-35 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine etched metal parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, meant to sharpen a plastic kit of the modern Russian Su-35 multirole fighter in 1:48 scale. It is neither a model nor a kit - it is an accessory that replaces or supplements plastic parts with more faithful metal ones. Etched parts thinner than plastic give both the cockpit and the external surfaces a depth and texture that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
The Su-35 (NATO reporting name Flanker-E) is a Russian single-seat multirole fighter of generation 4++, derived from the Su-27 line. It stands out for its powerful radar, long range, heavy armament and extraordinary agility, due among other things to engines with thrust vectoring. It is among the most capable combat aircraft of its generation and a rewarding, richly detailed subject for modelers of modern aircraft.
The finest parts belong in the interior before the fuselage is closed up, and the small external items are glued to the finished model. Cut the parts off close to the fret with a sharp knife and form the bends over the edge of a ruler or in a bending tool. Glue with a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate glue. Because of its size the set is meant for advanced modelers, and tweezers and a magnifier are worth having.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. A kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
