Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the Czech manufacturer AML in 1:48 scale for the Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk.IXc. The LF designation belongs to the version with the Merlin 66 engine, whose supercharger was tuned for low and medium altitude, that is where most of the air fighting over western Europe took place from 1943 onwards. It was the LF Mk.IX aircraft that formed the backbone of the RAF fighter squadrons, including the Czechoslovak ones, and it is the historically most numerous form of the Mk.IX.
The Spitfire Mk.IX in 1:48 is one of the most built models there is, and good alternative markings always come in useful, whether you are building your first Mk.IX or adding to a collection of RAF aircraft. The sheet is intended for ordinary Spitfire Mk.IX kits in 1:48 scale.
The decals belong on a gloss, fully cured base. Work with lukewarm water, let the subject release from the paper completely and bring it to its final position on the model with a soft brush. On national insignia crossing engraved lines a decal softener helps: apply it, let the decal draw down and do not touch it until it has dried. A final coat of varnish evens the sheen out and prepares the surface for weathering.
A modeling accessory; the sheet does not contain the aircraft kit, paints or glue.
