Hauler 1:48 T17E2 AA Staghound is a photo-etched accessory set for a kit of the antiaircraft version of the armored car you have already bought, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of photo-etched metal parts is meant for refining the plastic kit of the antiaircraft version of the Staghound armored car in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle - it is an aftermarket accessory that assumes you already have the base kit. It is made by the Czech firm Hauler and is cut for the Bronco kit.
The Staghound was an all-wheel-drive armored car produced in the USA but introduced above all with British and Commonwealth units during the Second World War. The T17E2 version carried an open turret with a pair of heavy machine guns in place of the gun turret and served to defend columns against low-flying aircraft. The open construction of the turret means that on a model you can see inside, and it is exactly there that a plastic kit runs out of detail first.
With this subject photo-etch comes into its own mainly on the thin-walled parts that plastic cannot imitate - the meshes, the brackets, the loops and the sheet-metal flanges. Stiffer or springy parts are shaped better after annealing: pass a piece of photo-etch briefly through the flame of a lighter, let it cool, and the material will soften markedly. Always bend in the marked line, and in several small steps rather than one sharp movement. The open spaces of the turret deserve darker shading and drybrushing, so that the new depth of detail does not vanish under a uniform coat of paint.
This is an accessory set, not a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
