1:48 TA-4J, TA-4, TA-4 Skyhawk CAMOUFLAGE kabuki masks

New Ware CAMOUFLAGE — kabuki masks for the TA-4 Skyhawk (1:48)

A set of precisely cut masks of kabuki paper from the manufacturer New Ware in 1:48 scale for the two-seat training Skyhawk TA-4. The CAMOUFLAGE guise is aimed at spraying a camouflage scheme — the masks mark out the borders between colors and the supplementary areas, so you achieve sharp, repeatable transitions without lengthy covering with tape.

Use

The masks are lifted out of the sheet with tweezers, seated precisely according to the instructions and sprayed over with the appropriate shade of the camouflage. Kabuki paper follows the shape of the surface and comes off easily once the paint has dried. It is an accessory for painting, not a kit.

Usage tips

• Work from the lighter shades to the darker ones
• Press the edges of the masks down well against paint running underneath
• Spray thin layers for softer as well as sharper transitions
• Keep to the order of steps in the enclosed instructions

Who it is for

• Modelers building the training TA-4 Skyhawk in 1:48 scale
• Those who want a precise and repeatable camouflage scheme
• Advanced builders and careful beginners

The accessory holds neither a model nor paints. The masks serve to mask the camouflage during spraying.
