This plastic kit in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter represents the American UH-34D Seahorse helicopter. It is a richly broken-down model with a high parts count, supplemented with photo-etched parts and offering several marking options. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The UH-34D came out of the proven Sikorsky S-58 design with its characteristic tall fuselage and a radial engine in the nose. It served above all with the US Marine Corps as a transport and multipurpose machine and was deployed in a whole range of operations around the world. It is recognizable by the high-set cabin and the large main rotor.
Given the higher parts count and the photo-etched elements, an experienced hand comes in useful. Paint the interior and the engine section before you close the fuselage. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend a primer underneath, spraying with an airbrush and weathering for service wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
