The Lockheed Martin F-16C, anniversary finishes 1:48 decal sheet from the manufacturer Caracal Models brings celebratory schemes of American F-16C machines. Meant for application to a finished varnished model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet in 1:48 scale focused on anniversary, that is celebratory finishes of F-16C machines of the US Air Force. Such aircraft tend to be striking in color and are a rewarding subject, because they differ markedly from the ordinary gray operational form. The particular machines and the extent of the schemes are given by the manufacturer on the packaging of the sheet, so compare them before building with the model you have.
The F-16C is the single-seat version of the light multirole combat aircraft with one jet engine, a bubble canopy with an excellent all-round view and a ventral air intake. The design makes use of fly-by-wire control and deliberately relaxed static stability, thanks to which the aircraft is very agile. The pilot sits in a reclined seat. The type is among the most widespread combat aircraft of the present day and units commonly prepare special color finishes for it on anniversaries, as a rule on the fin, the spine of the fuselage and the canopy cover.
With the F-16C the striking elements often run across the rounded spine of the fuselage and the transitions at the root of the fin, where a flat film has no chance of adhering on its own. Lay the decal onto plenty of water, set it in place and soak the surplus away, then apply softener and let the film settle without touching it. On the most pronounced curves it helps, once dry, to warm the surface lightly with warm water on a cotton swab and to press the decal down again. Any small cracks on an edge can be retouched once dry with a brush and paint in the corresponding shade.
This is a standalone decal sheet. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
