This resin kit captures the British battleship HMS Vanguard in 1:700 scale. The model from the Czech manufacturer ROP is cast in resin and suits modelers with experience of resin sets. The contents of the package follow the actual delivery.
HMS Vanguard was the last battleship of the Royal Navy and at the same time the last battleship launched anywhere in the world. Her keel was laid in 1941, she was launched in 1944 and she entered service only after the end of the Second World War. She was a fast battleship with a main caliber of fifteen inches and heavy anti-aircraft armament, and the experience of the war showed in her form.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); sand with respiratory protection. On a large battleship the fine photo-etched railings, radars and masts come into their own. The model can be built as a waterline model or with a base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
