A resin kit of the British destroyer HMS Nubian as she appeared in 1945, offered in 1:700 scale by the Czech brand ROP. It is a waterline model, that is a hull at the waterline, with fine castings for the superstructures. It is intended for experienced modelers who will appreciate the quality of the resin casting and the room it leaves for further detailing.
HMS Nubian was a destroyer of the Tribal class, built for the Royal Navy at the end of the 1930s with the emphasis on heavy gun armament. Ships of this class saw intensive service during the Second World War in the Mediterranean and elsewhere, and their appearance in 1945 reflects the late wartime changes to their armament and sensors.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue, and protect your airways when sanding. The model goes very well with photo-etched railings and rigging. A stand or a water surface in a diorama suits it for display.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
