Responsibility details are not available.
A resin kit of the Japanese battlecruiser IJN Kongo in her state from 1913, in 1:700 scale from the Czech maker ROP. The model is intended for experienced modelers with experience of resin. It captures the ship in her original form, that is before the later extensive conversions.
IJN Kongo was the lead ship of the class of Japanese battlecruisers of the same name. She was the only one of the class built in England and was completed in 1913. She was the first ship in the world armed with guns of fourteen inches. In later years she went through conversions into a fast battleship, but this model corresponds to the original state of the battlecruiser.
First wash any mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sprue gates and sand the surfaces down with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The model suits a base or a water surface (waterline). Shades of Japanese naval gray and accenting of the decks and the funnels are recommended. Fine railings and fittings can be added with photo-etched parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
