Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese light cruiser Natori in 1:700 scale from Tamiya's Waterline series. The waterline version shows the ship down to the waterline, so once built the model looks like a vessel afloat. The package contains plastic parts and decals; the model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Natori was one of the Nagara class light cruisers of the Imperial Japanese Navy. These were fast cruisers meant to lead destroyer flotillas; they carried a combination of guns and torpedo tubes and served in a number of Pacific operations during the Second World War. The Natori was deployed above all in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
Set the hull, cut at the waterline, on a flat surface or a stand; paint the superstructures and the deck separately before the final assembly. Fine items such as railings can be replaced with photo-etched parts from the accessory range. Toning with washes into the recesses and gently picking out details with a dry brush will add realism.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
