Masking sheets for the deck of the battleship Hiei in 1:700 scale from Artwox Model let you spray the deck without overlapping onto the surrounding surfaces. This is an accessory for the Fujimi 460079 kit, not a model.

Artwox Model has prepared masking sheets cut to the shape of the deck surfaces of the battleship Hiei in 1:700 scale. The cut is based on the Fujimi 460079 kit, on which the outlines around the superstructure and the gun turrets line up. The product contains neither a model nor paints; it is an aid for spraying.
The point is not to get the mask stuck down but to keep paint from seeping under it. That happens for two reasons: either the edge is not pressed down, or you spray at an angle from the side, so the air pressure drives the paint under the edge. A pre-cut sheet solves the first of those, because it has a continuous edge with no strips joined together. The second depends on how you handle the airbrush.
Lower the pressure; on small surfaces in this scale a lower setting than for large parts is usually more than enough. Hold the nozzle at right angles to the surface and move it across the edge, not along it. A proven trick is to seal the edge of the mask with a thin coat of the base color: any leak is then filled with the same shade that lies under the mask and will not show. Only after that do you spray the target color. Take the mask off while the paint has only gone off, pulling at a sharp angle.
An accessory for a model, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package. Before you buy, check that the set matches your kit.
