An injection-molded plastic kit of the American AH-64 Apache attack helicopter from the Polish brand Mirage Hobby. The model in 1:72 scale is based on the markings of machines deployed with the IFOR peacekeeping force in Bosnia. A decal sheet and clear parts for the cockpit glazing are included.
The AH-64 Apache is an American two-seat attack helicopter intended to destroy armor and to give direct fire support. It is marked by a tandem cockpit, powerful sensor equipment and strong armament. In the mid-1990s the machines took part in peacekeeping operations in the area of the former Yugoslavia.
Separate the parts from the sprues and glue them with cement for plastic. Glue the clear glazing parts with cement suitable for transparent plastics and mask them while spraying. Assemble and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage. A uniform dark green suits the paintwork; use a light wash and a dry brush to bring out the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
