Eduard 1:72 AH-64D Apache painting masks are a set of self-adhesive kabuki masks for clean spraying of the glazed cockpit of the Boeing AH-64 attack helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
These painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard are intended for models of the Boeing AH-64 Apache attack helicopter in the AH-64D version, in 1:72 scale. The parts in low-tack kabuki tape follow exactly the subdivided cockpit glazing made up of flat panels, so that straight, crisp frames remain after spraying, with no laborious cutting of tape.
The Boeing AH-64 Apache is an American two-seat attack helicopter intended to destroy ground targets and to support ground forces. The AH-64D Longbow version is notable for a mast-mounted radar and modernized avionics, thanks to which it ranks among the highest-performing attack helicopters in the world. The cockpit has its typical angular, well-armored glazing.
Lift the parts off the sheet, transfer them to the individual panels of the glazing and press them down with a soft tool. Finish covering any gaps with strips of tape or liquid mask. Spray the color of the frame and then the exterior shade, and remove the masks while the paint is freshly dry.
The masks are an accessory for spraying, not a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
