An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet BD-41 armored self-propelled railroad car in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM (UniModels), from its range of railroad combat vehicles. The package combines polystyrene parts with photo-etched detail and a decal sheet; sections of track are usually included as well. For the exact contents, follow the instructions included.
Armored self-propelled railroad cars served to guard and to fight along the lines. The BD-41 was one of these armored vehicles on rails with a turret; as a self-contained car it provided mobile fire support on the rail network.
Glue the model with liquid cement for plastic and attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend a primer and an airbrush, picking out the engraved detail with a wash and weathering the underside with pigments. The track sections included let you set the model up in a simple scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
