An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM (UniModels). The set combines the Soviet T-26 light tank with the 45 mm 53-K anti-tank gun. The subject is military-historical, from the period of interwar and early wartime equipment of the Red Army.
The T-26 light tank was among the most widespread Soviet tanks of the 1930s and was based on a British Vickers license. The 45 mm 53-K anti-tank gun was the standard Soviet anti-tank weapon of the late 1930s. The combination of a tank and artillery matches the unit organization of the day.
Use liquid cement for plastic and finish the running gear before closing up the hull. The tiny parts of UM kits call for careful cutting from the sprues. Dark washes in the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear suit the patina. We recommend a primer and airbrush painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
