The model represents a Czechoslovak light pillbox of model 36, type E, as a cutaway, that is with part of the wall removed to reveal the internal arrangement of the object. It is a resin kit in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP o.s.
The light fortification of model 36 was the first type of Czechoslovak light pillbox. The cutaway version makes it possible to look inside the object and to get a sense of the layout of the fighting and the support space, which is valuable for understanding how a pillbox worked.
This is a resin kit for experienced modelers. First wash the parts free of release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces back with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A cutaway model lends itself to setting the interior apart in color; bring the inside out with drybrushing and a light wash. A concrete surface comes out well in plaster gray shades with the edges lightly emphasized, and the weathering is more easily achieved with a wash and pigments.
The model is supplied as a resin kit, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
