This set contains several Czechoslovak light-fortification structures in different variants — pattern-37 Type A ropiks in the 160 and 220 variants in reinforced form, a reinforced Type E structure, and a pattern-36 Type B structure. It is a resin kit in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP o.s.
Light-fortification structures of patterns 36 and 37 formed a continuous line of Czechoslovak defenses in 1937 and 1938. The types differed in shape, field of fire, and resistance; the numerical designation on Type A comes from the firing angle of its two embrasures, and the letter Z marks the reinforced form. The set therefore represents a cross section of several variants at once.
This is a resin kit for experienced modelers. First wash the parts to remove residual release agent, cut off the casting blocks, and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Assemble each structure separately; the set suits comparing the types side by side as well as a shared diorama. A concrete surface stands out with plaster-gray shades and light edge highlighting, and weathering is easier to achieve with a wash and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
