The kit in 1:72 scale captures the Eurofighter Typhoon in service with the Royal Air Force. It is a conventional injection-molded plastic kit from the Italian maker Italeri, supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine multirole combat aircraft developed in European international cooperation. Its recognition features are the delta-canard aerodynamic layout, that is a delta wing with a foreplane, a digital control system and a pair of afterburning turbofans. The Royal Air Force operates the type in the fighter role as well as in the attack role. Aircraft in its colors carry low-contrast gray finishes with discreet squadron markings.
Use a thin cement for polystyrene on the joints of the plastic parts; capillary action takes it straight into the seam. Apply a filler primer before painting; it evens the surface out and reliably reveals imperfect joints. The gray shades of contemporary aircraft come out best sprayed with an airbrush with the transitions softly blurred. Mask the canopy in advance so that it stays clear, and apply the decals onto a gloss varnish with the help of a decal softener. Dose the final highlighting of the panel lines sparingly; the surface of a modern aircraft looks very uniform to the eye.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
