The F-4C was the first production fighter version of the Phantom II to enter service with the US Air Force (USAF). The two-seat, twin-engine machine with its powerful turbojets became the backbone of American tactical fighter strength over Vietnam. Among other things, the edition recalls the famous aircraft Scat XXVII flown by Robin Olds, linked with Operation Bolo, in which North Vietnamese MiG-21s were lured into an aerial trap. The F-4C was an early version, followed by the improved F-4D.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints carefully. Paint the extensive canopy glazing with the help of the enclosed masks and emphasize the interior before you close the fuselage. Build the external stores according to the scheme you choose. The Vietnam Phantoms carried the Southeast Asia camouflage, with brown and green upper surfaces and a light underside — after a gloss coat and the decals, emphasize the panel lines with a wash and add service wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
