F-4EJ Phantom II Air Development and Test Wing, the 60th anniversary of the JASDF in 1:72 scale: a plastic kit of the Japanese Phantom in a special anniversary scheme from Fujimi.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Japanese F-4EJ Phantom II fighter version in 1:72 scale from Fujimi. The model focuses on a machine of the Air Development and Test Wing of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) in a special scheme for the 60th anniversary of the JASDF. The decal sheet offers striking anniversary markings and unit emblems.
The F-4EJ was the Japanese license-built version of the American Phantom II, a two-seat twin-engine supersonic fighter. With the JASDF it served from the end of the 1960s as the main air defense machine and went through modernizations over time. The test unit operated Phantoms when proving armament and new equipment; for the anniversaries of the JASDF the machines received commemorative special finishes.
The striking anniversary scheme stands out on a smoothly sanded and primed surface; lay a gloss clear coat under the decals for seamless transitions, and a matte clear coat at the end will even the whole out. It pays to finish the cockpit and the external stores before closing the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
