The real subject

The Republic F-84 Thunderjet was an American jet fighter and fighter-bomber of the turn of the 1940s and 1950s. The F-84G version had a straight wing and equipment for refueling in flight, and it was committed to action during the Korean War among other places. It carried machine gun armament in the nose.

Building and painting tips

The matching section of skin on the kit has to be cut out for the bay to show. Wash the resin parts, clean them up and bond them with super glue. The inner compartment is usually painted in metallic and primer shades and brought up with a wash so that the detail shows.
