MASTER 1:72 Fairey Firefly – Hispano 20 mm cannons with uncovered barrels is a set of turned metal barrels for the 20 mm cannons in the build with uncovered barrels, for refining a model of the Fairey Firefly.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal barrels replaces the plastic armament on the wings of a model of the Fairey Firefly in 1:72 scale. The Hispano cannons of 20 mm caliber are built here with uncovered barrels, that is without the short fairings. The metal parts have a hollow muzzle and a faithful profile.
The Fairey Firefly was a British carrier-based fighter and reconnaissance aircraft from the Second World War and the postwar years. Its main armament was the wing-mounted 20 mm Hispano cannons, on some versions with uncovered, visible barrels.
Cut off the original plastic barrels and replace them with the metal parts, which are glued with cyanoacrylate into drilled holes. The version with uncovered barrels differs from the build in short fairings, so take care to choose the right set for your variant.
This is a detail part, not a model of the aircraft. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
