Two sheets of tiled flooring in 1:72 scale for dioramas, display cases and bases. Within the line the sheets are told apart by their pattern and shade.
Responsibility details are not available.
In 1:72 scale a whole room takes up the area of a palm, and the result is decided by the surface the scene stands on. The bare board of a base gives the model away at once, whereas a floor with a regular grid of tiles gives the scene depth and at the same time reveals the size of everything standing on it: an aircraft in a hangar, a vehicle in a workshop or a figure in a hall. It suits the interiors of buildings and workshops, station and factory spaces and ruins where only part of the floor is left and rubble covers the rest.
Two sheets of tiled flooring in 1:72 scale. The size, the material and the recommended way of fixing them are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging. The line holds several sheets with the same name that differ from one another in their pattern and their shade.
Level the base and get the dust off it before you lay the sheet, because every speck under a thin layer will make a bump. Trace the shape of the room onto paper, test the template dry and only then run the cut with a sharp blade; cutting along the joint between the tiles is always better than across the face of a tile. Choose the glue according to the maker's instructions and spread it in a thin continuous coat. Try the painting and weathering on an offcut in advance, and only then touch the finished surface. In a small scale restrained soiling looks more natural: suggest darker traces against the walls, in the corners and where people walk, and leave the middle of the area lighter. A few tiles broken or cracked at the edge will do more for the impression of wear than soiling the whole area.
The base, walls, model, figures, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
