An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Fokker D.VII fighter in its early form, in 1:72 scale. The model comes from a Czech maker and is supplied with a decal sheet allowing several marking options. It is a classic plastic kit meant to be assembled and painted.
The Fokker D.VII was one of the best fighters of the German air service at the end of the First World War. It went into action in 1918 and became famous for excellent handling and for stability while firing. The early production machines were powered by the inline Mercedes D.III engine. The aircraft gained such a reputation that the post-war armistice agreement expressly demanded its surrender.
Glue the parts with a thin cement for plastic and clean the fuselage and wing joints up carefully. With a biplane it pays to plan the order of assembly and the gluing of the struts; for the camouflage and the typical lozenge pattern we recommend decals or masks. Use a gloss coat before the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
