About product

Fokker F.VIIb/3m mask 1:72 (paint mask)

A self-adhesive paint mask from Peewit for models of the three-engine Fokker F.VIIb/3m airliner in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit and not decals but precisely shaped masks that separate the frames of the glazing sharply from the surrounding finish while spraying. The mask speeds the masking of the windows up fundamentally and makes it more accurate.

The real subject

The Fokker F.VIIb/3m was a three-engine airliner and mail plane of the 1920s and 1930s. This reliable machine with a high-set wing made its mark on long-distance and record flights and became one of the iconic airliners of its day.

Use and tips

  • Stick the masks onto degreased, smooth glazing and press the edges down carefully so that paint cannot seep under.
  • Spray in thin coats and take the mask off while the finish is still tacky.
  • Spray the interior color of the frames first and only then the outer shade.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building the Fokker F.VIIb/3m in 1:72 scale
  • Anyone after sharp glazing frames without outlining by hand
  • Builders of interwar transport subjects

This is a paint mask, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.

FAQ

No, it is only a set of paint masks for the glazing. The Fokker model itself has to be bought separately.

It covers the glazing so that, after spraying, the window frames come out sharp and straight with no laborious brushwork.

For models in 1:72 scale.
