Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-6 in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer Mistercraft. The model depicts one of the radial-engine versions of the A series and carries color schemes with a green hearts motif. The box holds decals for several marking options. It is a kit from older tooling, where careful cleaning up of the parts pays off.
The Fw 190A was the radial-engine version of the famous German Focke-Wulf fighter, valued by pilots for its ruggedness and heavy armament. The A-6 version brought changes to the wing and strengthened cannon armament and was deployed on every front of the Second World War. The green hearts motif on the fuselage refers to one of the famous fighter units with which the Focke-Wulfs served.
With older tooling, expect the parts to need cleaning up and the flash removing before gluing. Use thin cement on the plastic, finish the cockpit before closing up the fuselage and fill the seams if needed. A combination of gray shades suits German camouflage; bring out the panel lines with a wash and unify the surface with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
