A plastic kit, Kfz. 14 Bodenwanne 1:72 from RPM: a model of the German radio armored car.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Kfz. 14 light armored car in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand RPM. The set contains sprues of plastic parts, a small sprue with antennas and a decal sheet; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model is based on the same design as the Kfz. 13 armored car, but in the radio signals version.
The Kfz. 14 was a signals (radio) armored car built on an Adler chassis. Unlike the combat Kfz. 13 variant with a machine gun, it carried a radio set and a frame antenna, which is why it served as a reconnaissance and command signals vehicle with a crew of three. Vehicles of this type were deployed, among other places, during the campaign of 1939. The open tub-shaped hull gave the real subject the nickname Bodenwanne.
Finish the interior areas and the seating of the frame antenna before closing the hull. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, treat the surface with a primer and paint with an airbrush in period gray shades. Washes and pigments will help bring out the rivets of the hull and create mud effects on the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
