A specialized self-adhesive mask set in kabuki tape, shaped by precise die-cutting. It does not serve to mask the cockpit but exclusively for spraying the exhaust nozzles of the engines. It is intended for models of the bomber General Dynamics F-111 in 1:72 scale.
The masks sit on the individual segments of the nozzles and make it possible to separate the shades of metal and of heat-discolored surfaces cleanly. With them you achieve accurate edges between the color bands without laborious covering by hand.
Degrease the nozzle parts first. Lift the masks off with tweezers and press the edges down carefully, so that paint does not creep under the tape. Spray the metal and heat-resistant shades in layers, let them dry and lift the masks off carefully. Kabuki tape can be shaped into curves and leaves no adhesive.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
