It is a classic, straightforward tool suitable for less experienced modelers as well. The package contains plastic sprues and decals for the American markings; the exact contents are given on the packaging.
During the Korean War the Americans got the chance to examine the MiG-15 thoroughly after one of the enemy's machines came into their hands. The aircraft was remarked in American colors and put through test flights in which its flying qualities were assessed against contemporary Western fighters. This episode is among the most interesting chapters of the Cold War and gives the model an unusual look, attractive to collectors and different from the ordinary Soviet schemes.
Assemble the cockpit and the landing gear, and mask the glazing before painting. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and sand the fuselage joints. A metal surface comes out best on a smooth base; stir the metallic paint and spray it with an airbrush at the end. Place the American insignia according to the instructions, so that the scheme matches the test machine.
