No.161 (SD) Sq. RAF (1:72) is a DK Decals sheet with the markings of the aircraft of the RAF special duties squadron - Albemarle, Lysander, Havoc, Hudson and Wellington.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer DK Decals. It brings markings for the aircraft of the British No. 161 Squadron (Special Duties) across several types - the Armstrong Whitworth Albemarle, the Westland Lysander, the Douglas Havoc, the Lockheed Hudson and the Vickers Wellington. It is an accessory for plastic kits, not a model.
During the Second World War No. 161 Squadron RAF carried out clandestine operations - dropping and picking up agents and supplying the resistance behind enemy lines. The set lets you build several different aircraft of this unit at once with period-accurate markings and the personal emblems of particular aircraft.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat so that silvering does not occur. Use a decal softener so that the markings settle onto the surface and into the engraving; once dry, even the surface out with a flat clear coat matching the RAF camouflage schemes.
This is a decal sheet (an accessory). Paints, clear coat and the kit are not included in the package.
