An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panzer IV medium tank in the Ausf. G version in 1:72 scale from Dragon. The model captures the angular hull, the turret with its long gun and the running gear with small road wheels and return rollers. The kit is made up of plastic parts on sprues, unless stated otherwise.
The Panzer IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War and formed the backbone of the tank units on every front. The Ausf. G version was given a long gun of 75 mm caliber, which markedly improved its ability to destroy enemy tanks, and often also additional side armor plates. The vehicle was built in large numbers and used from the Eastern Front to North Africa.
Assemble and dry-fit the running gear before you close up the hull; in a small scale, take care over clean joints. Separate the small parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Lay the base coat over a primer with an airbrush; the German camouflage is livened up by washes and dust pigments emphasizing the rivets, the side plates and the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
