GasPatch Schwarzlose 07/12 Unjacked 1:72 is a set of two resin Schwarzlose aviation machine guns without the cooling jacket, for models of Austro-Hungarian First World War aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin detail set contains two Schwarzlose model 07/12 aviation machine guns in the form without the water cooling jacket, in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory that replaces the simplified weapons on models of Austro-Hungarian aircraft of the First World War period. The castings capture fine detail unattainable in injection-molded plastic.
The Schwarzlose M07/12 was an Austro-Hungarian machine gun of 8 mm caliber. For aviation service a lightened, air-cooled version without the water jacket was used, which freed it up for installation in the fighters and observation aircraft of the Danube monarchy. It is exactly this unjacked shape that the set reproduces.
Wash the release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The weapons stand out with a dark metallic base, edges accented with a dry brush and a fine wash in the recesses.
This is an accessory set, not a model of an aircraft. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without glue and paints.
