An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Sd.Kfz. 11 half-track tractor in the 11/4 Nebelkraftwagen variant in 1:72 scale from Special Armour. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the package usually holds photo-etched parts, film for the vision ports and decals for several vehicles. The tracks tend to be made as one-piece.
The Sd.Kfz. 11 was a light German half-track tractor of the Second World War. The 11/4 Nebelkraftwagen version served the projector units, the Nebeltruppen, as an ammunition carrier for the Nebelwerfer rocket launchers and for towing the weapon. The vehicle carried the crew and a stock of ammunition. It is a scale model of historical equipment.
It is a smaller half-track model, so dry-fit the parts carefully and glue the photo-etched items with super glue. Finish the running gear and the interior before closing the hull. The German schemes of the period are typical of the painting; use washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
