Peewit 1:72 spray mask - Sepecat Jaguar GR.1/GR.3

A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks of the Peewit brand in 1:72 scale for models of the British Sepecat Jaguar attack aircraft in the GR.1 and GR.3 versions. The masks are cut from kabuki paper and follow the frames of the glazing, so they make it easier to spray the cockpit sharply without cutting them out by hand.

Use

  • Lift the masks off the backing and stick them on following the frames of the glazing.
  • Kabuki paper follows the curved surfaces of the canopy and holds throughout the work.
  • Once the paint has dried, lift the masks off and you have sharp transitions.
  • It shortens the preparation compared with masking with tape.

  • Builders who want a clean cockpit without cutting masks out.

A mask is neither a paint nor a kit. Press the edges down before spraying so that the paint does not run under the mask.
