About product

Easy Model UH-1B Huey Iroquois, US Army, Vietnam 1967 (1:72)

A finished collector's model of the Bell UH-1B Iroquois helicopter, nicknamed the Huey, in US Army form from the time of the Vietnam War. The Easy Model is already assembled and painted, in a combination of die-cast metal and plastic, including the printing and markings. It is not a kit: the model does not need gluing or painting and is ready to go straight into a display case.

The real subject

The Bell UH-1 Iroquois is among the best-known helicopters in history. The UH-1B version was a single-engine multi-purpose machine used by the US Army for carrying troops, evacuating the wounded and as armed support, among other things. In Vietnam the Huey became the symbol of air mobility, and the characteristic sound of its rotor is still easy to recognize today.

The workmanship and care

The model has a solid structure with metal elements that give it weight. We recommend displaying it away from dust and direct sunlight, and wiping fingerprints off the painted surface with a soft cloth. The rotor blade and the landing gear are delicate, so handle them with care.

Who the model is for

  • For collectors of helicopters and military hardware who want a finished piece.
  • For anyone interested in the equipment used in the Vietnam War.
  • As a gift for modelers and non-modelers alike, as the model is ready to display.
