GasPatch Vickers Hyland Type B 1:72 is a resin set of two Vickers aircraft machine guns with the Hyland Type B cocking lever in standard and reversed feed, for models of First World War aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory for models of First World War aircraft in 1:72 scale. The package contains a pair of synchronized Vickers aircraft machine guns fitted with the Hyland Type B cocking lever, in the variant with standard as well as reversed feed of the ammunition belt. This is not an aircraft kit, but fine armament that replaces the plastic parts from the box.
The Vickers was the standard fixed synchronized machine gun of British fighters of the First World War, derived from the ground machine gun and fitted in its aircraft version with a lightened perforated cooling jacket. The Hyland Type B cocking lever made it possible to run the belt either in the standard direction or reversed, depending on the installation, which the set matches with its two forms.
Wash the mold release agent off the small resin parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The perforated jacket comes out well with a dark metallic color and gently picking out the edges with a dry brush.
This is an accessory, not an airplane model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
